Ine Mariën asked as curator to develop a totally new concept and programme for the FLORALIES 2016 in Ghent

In parallel to supporting the transformation of the 208 year old Royal Society of Agriculture and Botany of Ghent.


Ghent, September 2013 – Following the new policy of visibility, renewal and financial sustainability, the Board of the Royal Society for Agriculture and Botany of Ghent (KMLP) in December 2012, took the historic decision to organise the famous Flower Show FLORALIES in the city once again. As a result, Ine Mariën was asked to manage this important transition and devise a totally new concept and programme for the FLORALIES 2016, in dialogue with the many stakeholders from the horticultural sector, structural partners such as the city of Ghent, the province of East Flanders, governmental agencies and the public.
